TV Premieres in November

November

November had a couple of great shows returning and plenty of series premieres. Thanksgiving is a nice time to find a show worth watching over the week.

Netflix

On Netflix, Arcane had a fantastic 2nd and final season. A show rich in characters and themes closed out the story quite well.

Also on Netflix is the German historical drama, The Empress, about Empress Elisabeth of Austria during the mid- to late-1800s.

Peacock

On Peacock, Based on a True Story returns for Season 2. This is a fun comedy that begs not to be taken too seriously, otherwise that whole not turning a murderer in becomes problematic to say the least.

And The Day of the Jackal premiered with Eddie Redmayne as the "Jackal", a character based on the book of the same name written by Frederick Forsyth.

The Rest

The Sci-fi post-apocalyptic story Silo returns for season 2 on Apple. Definite recommendation.

Cross based on James Patterson's Alex Cross dropped all of Season 1 on Prime. Perfect for crime drama fans.

Dune: Prophecy is new series in the Dune universe that premiered on Max. An interesting spinoff to the very good movie series.

Happy Thanksgiving. Good luck cooking out there!
